Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between Instant.Talk ("we", "us") and the merchant using our service ("you"). By installing or using Instant.Talk you agree to them.
What the service is
Instant.Talk provides an AI agent that answers your shoppers by chat and voice using your store's own content, looks up orders for verified customers, and escalates conversations to you. It is a tool that assists your support; you remain responsible for your store and your customer relationships.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your store content accurate. The agent answers from what your store says.
- Review escalations and anything involving money. The agent will never issue refunds or cancel orders; those decisions are yours.
- Use the service lawfully, including any notice or consent your region requires for call recording or automated assistants.
- Keep your account access secure.
Plans, billing, and minutes
Paid plans and minute packs are billed through your store platform's billing system. Included minutes reset monthly and do not roll over; purchased minute packs do not expire. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from the app, effective per the platform's billing cycle. Fees are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise.
Fair use
Free chat is offered under fair use. We may apply reasonable limits to protect the service from abuse, and we will always show you the limit before it affects your shoppers.
AI honesty
The agent is designed to answer only from your store's content and to hand off when unsure. Like any AI system it can still make mistakes. We surface every conversation to you, and you should treat the transcripts as the record of truth.
Data
Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle data. Your data stays yours. We never use it to train AI models, and we delete it when you leave.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available around the clock but cannot promise uninterrupted operation. We may improve or change features over time; if a change materially reduces what you pay for, we will tell you first.
Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Ending the agreement
You can uninstall at any time. We may suspend or end service for abuse, non-payment, or unlawful use, with notice where practical. After uninstall, your data is deleted per the Privacy Policy.
